Topeka St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by KSNT
The Topeka St. Patrick’s Day has been a Topeka tradition for over 40 years!
Parade Details
The parade kicks off at noon March 14th, 2026. Staging will open at 10 A.M. To enter the staging area, floats should come from 10th Ave and Topeka Blvd east to 10th and Harrison. We will have parade staff there to direct you south onto Harrison and into the staging area located in the Judicial Center Parking Lot. Only parade floats will be allowed into the staging area, no vehicle parking will be permitted in the Judicial Center Parking Lot. The parade route will begin at 10th and Kansas Ave proceeding north to 7th and Kansas Ave turning left to 7th and Van Buren where we will disembark floats in the parking lot there. Pre-registration is not required, however, there is a $20 suggested donation going to local non-profits and youth organizations right here in Topeka. Donations can be made through our website https://www.irishcluboftopeka.com/donations or at the staging entrance the morning of the parade. We can accept cash, Venmo, or credit cards. Thank you for helping us support local organizations here in the capital city.
Parade Float Details
All floats must be decorated in an Irish Theme!!! Parade entrants are not allowed to promote political parties, candidates or special interest groups. Floats that do not comply with the rules will be removed from the parade, the Irish Club of Topeka has the final authority in allowing floats to participate. Throwing of candy is strictly prohibited, however, you may walk along side your float and pass out candy to the crowd. All animals must be leashed and cleaned up after. Horses must have bags to participate in the parade.
